Barracudas is a carnival arts organisation which has been creating carnival for events throughout the U.K. for 20 years. At its carnivalcentre in the heart of Barrow-in-Furness Barracudas develops theartform, drawing inspiration from international influences and local traditions.

People of all ages and abilities learn about carnival
through participatorary sessions thru music, dance stilts and costume
making led by artists musicians and choregraphers from all over theworld. From Barrow, Barracudas takes its show on tour to major
festivals and offers training opportunities to other artists and organisations through residencies and masterclasses. Through the spirit of carnival Barracudas brings together individuals from all
walks of life.
